This is a charming pin put out by the National Congress of Parents and Teachers. 1897 was the year of it's founding. It was an organization dedicated to the educational, social and economic well-being of children. It would later be known as the PTA. It is a gold chevron with two chains on either side supporting a medallion. The medallion shows a gold and green tree on a beautiful light blue enamel background. Around the edge it reads National Congress of Parents and Teachers 1897. On the back of the medallion 10K.
