| Made in the USA The EPSLED-80-AM-50 Adjustable Magnetic Mount Explosion Proof LED Strobe Light from Larson Electronics is approved for Class 1 Division 1, Groups C and D, paint spray booth approved, and produces 4 flashes per second. Water proof and IP67 rated, this LED equipped light is magnetically mounted for temporary use and is available in several different color options and operates on 120-277V AC, 12V DC or 24V DC. The powerful and durable EPSLED-80-AM-50 adjustable magnetic mount explosion proof LED strobe light from Larson Electronics is approved for use in paint spray booths and is ideal for industrial applications, hazardous work spaces, and areas where gases, vapors and dusts may be present and a powerful and durable strobe light solution is needed. The lamp housing is waterproof, constructed of heavy cast aluminum, and UL tested to withstand 1490 lbs. per square inch of hydrostatic pressure. Factory sealed and finished in a durable polyester powder coating, this lamp can be ordered with red, blue, green, amber, and white strobing colors. Alternatively, this fixture can be configured with a steady burn lamp with the same light color options. Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.
This hazardous area strobe light carries a T3C temperature rating and is UL Listed Class 1, Groups C and D, Class 2, Groups E and F, and Class III, Groups E, F and G. This strobe light is IP67 rated waterproof and suitable for use in paint spray booths and areas where flammable gases, vapors and chemicals may be encountered as well as approved for exposure to combustible dusts. The cast aluminum housing is fully factory sealed and includes an integrated inspection hole for easy access to the splice compartment.
Mounting: The EPSLED-80-AM-50 explosion proof strobe light from Larson Electronics consists of two 200 lb grip magnets attached to an adjustable trunnion mounting bracket at the base of the light fixture. Operators mount the light fixture to any ferrous surface, and can adjust the light fixture after mounting to the desired position by loosening the set screws on the side of the the trunnion mounting bracket. Once the desired angle is set, simply re-tighten the set screws. The light fixture can easily be moved from location to location, making this portable strobe light ideal for inspection and temporary maintenance
Voltage: The LED bulb in this unit provide the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These strobe lights can operate on current ranging from 120 to 277V AC without any modifications necessary as a result. We also offer 12V DC or 24V DC versions for low voltage applications. This ability to sense and adjust input current also provides protection against voltage spikes and drops that can occur in electrical systems which would otherwise result in burning up or premature LED failure without it.
