This is a beautiful ceramic (glass), hand painted soup tureen. I think this might be an Intrada. But I haven’t been able to confirm. I have seen similar markings on “Majorica” Titled Chicken/Hen Soup Tureens, but who knows. The bottom is where it says, “ITALY”. And it’s #12 out of 13, if I understand the markings correctly. The top and bottom are both labeled with a “12”, I guess to ensure you don’t mix and match the lids and bases. The ladle is gone, so that’s a bummer, but these are highly sought after and to be honest I would just get a plain ceramic ladle or maybe you could find someone to paint the handle end with the matching hen/chicken feathers. I’d be happy to try, if anyone was interested in this piece. Just let me know! Look at the photo of the face, the detailing on this piece is exquisite. My mom received this as a gift long long ago and said take a stab at trying to sell it. :) No imperfections to really mention other than the spoon.
