Lot of 5 AUTHENTIC REVOLUTIONARY WAR ARTIFACTS RELICS From CAMP SARATOGA in NEW YORK. There were 2 key BATTLES that occurred a few miles south of Saratoga, NY in the autumn of 1777. These relics are well over 200 yrs old. Lead turns white after being exposed to the elements for approx 200 years. So, as you can see - the unused musket ball which probably missed its mark is made of lead. Also, the round object w/ 2 holes in the center is called a whizzer or a spinner. This was a toy that soldiers would make when sitting around the campfire from spent lead musket balls. They would take the toys home to their children in happier times. String was put in the holes and held taut causing the lead disc to spin around. There looks to be 2 uniform buttons - one appears to be made of brass & the other of pewter. The final object that is folded in half could have been an unfinished spinner made of lead. I bought these from a metal detectorist. Pls ask ? before buying & see all photos. Sold “as is”
