William DeLillo jewelry belt in a stunning design.
William deLillo and Stanley Clark were designers for Miriam Haskell who became close friends, and decided to create the DeLillo line. the pieces were all handmade, and designed and manufactured by them.
Delillo pieces are featured in museums, and are considered to be the "Holy Grail" of jewelry collecting.
This belt is HEAVY, well made, and amazingly beautiful. Never worn. About 29" in length, we think, but could be worn smaller due to the way it is designed.
Condition: The glass is the lapis glass flecked with goldstone. One stone on the bottom of the buckle has a fleabite chip on the bottom edge, but it was only found it when was inspected it with a loupe. There are three tiny areas where the plating has chipped, but can only be seen with a loupe. This item is so heavy, it is almost to be expected. Price reflects these defects.
