Film reel shipping box with original shipping label from The Department of the Army Washington D.C. to the Director of the Civil Defense Agency in Raleigh, NC.
Inside is a film canister containing the original 16mm film shipped, “A Lady Called Camille”.

A Lady Called Camille was a 1971 government film presented by the United States Department of Defense Office of Civil Defense. The film documents the destruction of Hurricane Camille, a Category 5 storm that made landfall in Mississippi on August 17, 1969, nearly flattening the Mississippi coastline. Camille was the second most intense tropical cyclone to strike the United States on record.

I’m unsure about the condition of the film as I’m not familiar with these sorts of things and have no way of viewing.

Very unique, one of a kind item.
