Vintage Aynsley bone china England Cabbage Rose tea cup and saucer are artist signed by J.A. Bailey.
Aynsley Bone China of England has become famous for their signed designs. The best of these was Joseph A Bailey.
The cup and saucer has a floral design with a large pink rose, sometimes referred to as a cabbage rose, and daisy, violets, poppy forget-me-nots and leaves on a creamy pale yellow bone china.
The exterior of the cup is a beautiful burnished gold gilt as well as around the edge of the saucer.
The gold appears to be in very nice condition for its age. Shows some very minor wear consistent with handling.
Both pieces show no chips, cracks, crazing or repair, however it does have a tiny pinpop on the gold exterior that was done in the making
The cup measures 2.25" tall at the rim, 2.75" with handle and 3.5" across the top and holds 5 oz, saucer 5.5" across
cup and saucer will be double boxed
