Vintage Bulova Accutron with vintage quartz factory movement replacement, Swiss.

This is a vintage 1968 Bulova Accutron 34mm watch with a 14kg gold fill case housing a vintage Bulova Swiss QUARTZ movement, yep, keep reading. At some point in time, the Accutron movement failed, that was actually common, so my great Uncle had the watch repaired by Bulova and they put in a quartz Bulova Swiss made movement. If you look to the right of the date window, you will notice a small spacer they inserted to properly fill in the date window after the movement swap. People used to repair things, not like today. This was his 20 wedding anniversary gift from his wife. Watch is engraved. Please note, the crystal does have a crack in it, but it is tight. The movement appears clean and has been running for over one year. The watch will need a new case back gasket, it is present, but is dry. Please see all photos as they are the description.
