Vintage Santa Claus mug candle stand or holder for a 2 3/4" pillar candle. Made in Japan by Lefton Ceramics in the 1950's-1960's, the figural candle stand uses a mold that is very similar to Lefton's figural Santa Claus hot cocoa mugs, but the top is closed to support the candle. The hand-painted face and the cold-painted hat are in like-new condition. There is a red Lefton foil seal on the bottom. The candle holder measures about 3 1/2" H x 5" across the handle, and is in very good used vintage condition.
