Wonderful Kokopelli pendant by acclaimed Navajo artist Alonzo Mariano, signed and marked sterling.
It's in great vintage condition - the intricate design accented by a lovely green-blue turquoise with brown matrix.
Quite sizable and substantial at 3 1/4 in. for the pendant plus the 1 1/8 in. bail -so it hangs over 4 in. from the necklace
The necklace is composed of a variety of older and newer sterling beads in round and melon shapes with flower stamped cones.
The beads are strung on wire and the length is 22 in. end to end.
Both pendant and necklace display some nice patina - but could be polished back to shiny if desired.
The pendant weighs about 22 grams and together with the necklace a total of around 43 grams.
The necklace was strung to complement the pendant and hold it securely in the middle .
However the bail could be adjusted - the opening rounded and removed to wear another way.
