This absolutely gorgeous vintage ceramic pig cookie jar is so charming and fun! Made of sturdy ceramic with lovely hand painted details (I just love the eyelashes on this cutie!), this ceramic canister was made by Shawnee in the early 1940s. Shawnee produced a number of variations of this pig canister, but this one is my personal favorite - piggy has bright green shamrocks or clovers on his front and back, and a bright green bandanna to match. As fun as it is functional, this ceramic jar is perfect for keeping cookies or snacks, but would also be great for storing craft supplies - or just displaying and admiring!
