After the dissolution of Operation Ivy, Jesse was relatively inactive for nearly then popped onto the scene out of nowhere with Common Rider. Common Rider was an American ska punk band, formed in 1999 by Jesse Michaels, Mass Giorgini and Dan Lumley. The band's name is taken from a Japanese TV show, Kamen Rider.
